A young man fights to protect his family, but his failing grip on reality drives him to extreme measures. Nathan is a drift in a world of crime and violence, and his only anchors to an identity are his son and the man he considered to be his best friend – that is until he hears something scratching in the attic. A one man play that explores the experience of psychosis and the effects of lacking a place in the world.
Since its premiere at Etcetera Theatre, this work has gone on to be used in the training of nurses, working in the mental health sector.
